Typography and Text for Spot Gloss and Gold Foil

To ensure the best results for your design please follow these guidelines:

  • Fonts - Please use 10pt or larger. Knocking out of smaller text is not advised.
  • Line Art - Use line weight greater than 1pt. Lines too close together will pool together.

The accuracy of the foil or spot UV layer is good, but not always perfect. These Elements may shift ever-so-slightly.

With Gold Foil we’d strongly recommend you do not match the gold layer with your CMYK layer - it’s best to use the gold in isolation. The color will not match and will not look good.
